Eco-Club Initiative: Planting 1000 Trees

In a significant step towards environmental sustainability, the Eco-Club of Evergreen International School organized a massive tree-planting drive last Saturday. Over 500 students, along with teachers and staff, participated in the initiative, planting 1000 saplings in and around the school campus.

The event was part of our "Green Evergreen" campaign, aimed at increasing the green cover of our locality and raising awareness about climate change. The saplings included a variety of native species known for their high oxygen output and shade.

The Eco-Club members have also committed to nurturing these saplings throughout the year. "Planting is just the first step; the real work lies in ensuring these trees grow and thrive," said the Eco-Club President.
